I suspect I'll end up with one of those instead before the end of next week.  Why?  Two reasons:

1)  I am also confused.
2)  You have one and you are my enabler.

EDIT:

I blame you for this.  I melted my Discovery, my extra modules and my Gladius fleet for it, plus a little extra.  The Gladius' were the only ships I had without LTI, so I can buy those back later if I feel like it without having to bother concierge when they're already rammed (I can possibly get them with 2 year insurance during citizencon anyway).  Putting fighters in the Idris always seemed a little pointless to be honest, considering you all have your own that I imagine you'd want to fly if we group up.  It's not a single player ship, so I don't think I'll need to own the fighters personally.

Really stuck with this one, I still have not made a decision.  Something just doesn't feel right about this one, despite it having been one of my most wanted ships prior to now.   I guess we'll have to wait for significant quantities of real ale at the LAN to help me make a final decision.  Currently I'm most tempted (but still not enough to push the button) to swap my 890 Jump for one.

I know what you mean. I was trying to find a combination of melts that I could justify. I just cant find one.

It's a personal choice but I'd be much more inclined to go with the Endeavor over the 890. It's just more utilitarian and 'space shippy'. I always thought the 890 should have been a purely NPC ship for pirates to enjoy pillaging :) The Endeavor does seem to be a ship you would 'do stuff' in rather than just 'fly about' in.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Vip missions are still a thing. Either that or the phoenix and the 890,are due a redesign

Not sure I understand what you are trying to say here?  It's Monday morning, so could you help my brain here with an explanation please?

Rushed response. The luxury liner type craft are supposed to be used for vip transportation. I hope that's still a thing. If it isn't I would expect there would be a redesign to both the phoenix and the 890

Yeah, I've been enjoying that video a lot!  It needs an Idris on there though...

TeaLeaf

I ended up passing on this one.  I don't fully know why, but it just did not match up to my initial expectations and had too many questions that relied on 'being fixed during balancing'.  So my 890 Jump did not get melted and lives to courier VIPs another day!

Good choice.  I'd melt my own hand before I melt my 890.
