dMwsmilodon is the name of the character I created but isn't my log in to Firefall. That's an email address which works fine on Firefalls web site but is 'unrecognised' in the launcher

Quite often I get the Firefall email/password login appear, then as if by magic Steam seems to inject something and my name appears and I can login without inputting anything. Perhaps it's steam (I assume you installed via steam) that isn't doing its thing.

EDIT: I read something about a Steam API that sometimes goes down.

Well I appear to be logged into an account although I have no idea which one it is. Maybe Steam links to a Firefall account and then locks that one in. When I start Firefall in Steam I just connect fine, if I back out and try to log in using the username and password it won't accept me? It's a little troubling to think that I have no idea what my Firefall username or password is. I also don't have any characters so I have no idea who dMwSmilodon is? I have been able to create a new dMwSmilodon so we'll see if there are two of me running about....

Them pesky varmints sneaked up behind us and popped some caps in our cute little buns!

I think they deserve a bit of a seeing to and maybe a radishing!

Anyone up for a second attempt in hardcore mode this evening?
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Oh goody! I'll try to be on around 8-ish BST and we can re-group and talk tactics before heading out.
