Quick Question - RJ45

I have an ExHD with a RJ45 connection (no usb).

Can it be connected directly to a pc for file manipulation?

If so How?

Chances are most PCs will do auto mdi/mdix these days, so you might not even need a  crossover, just a standard network cable. You'll need to know what IP address the hard drive uses though.
