Can someone give me a username to log into steam it hates mine, maybe caus it was created for the beta version steam.

Don't log in with your beta username, select the option to create a new account BUT (and here is the good bit) give it the details of the existing account - it will create a new account with the old details :-)

Well after a hugely frustrating evening, 2 reinstalls and many many reboots I finally managed to get on to the hook just as the last person left!! So I joined the 12K server, wow do I get a good ping to them. Spent most of the time with a ping of 12 WOOT!

Heres hoping I don't have to do that again if I want to play 2moz.

woohoo managed to connect this morning.........but had a ping of 1018

and as a bargain it only took 45 mins to load up .....now thats progress !!
