me n tox are on our 7th set of headphones in 24 months....

it is funny to see someone walk away from the pc with their headphones still on...
but it's heart-wrenching when its YOUR phones they're wearing!

all our phones fail in the left speaker within weeks....wire enters thru left ear-piece...ergo, wire moves and eventually fails.

so, not wanting to return to pcworld for the umteenth time to return my h/phones,(they've been v. good about returns) I figured this time I would spend some more (£25 odd last time) and buy some wireless ones.

thing is...I would rather buy on a recommendation than just believe the blurb.

so, if any of u guys know anything about wireless (or not) headphones &  mic, please let me have the benefit of your experience.

ps. i've just bought recoverer2000(full version...legit, i paid money for this) if anyone has to recover deleted files and is stuck,...etc etc

with some wireless devices you can get bad interference from other devices, this is why MUPK recomend that you dont use wireless devices at lans as some one else sitting close by may have a corrupting peice of equipment.
there are exceptions to this rule though for example tutonic has a wireless mouse that switches frequencys very quickly so that it has minimal interuption, i have no idea what make it is you will have to ask him

o btw my point was that if u are getting wireless then u need to make shure that they wont feck with eachother.

How about buying an extension for the cords? Then you could get some more meters before it snaps.

If you want really good wireless headphones I recommend Sennheiser

You need to get up to at least $200 if you want Hi-Fi quality.

Zalman (yes the ones that makes fans) have gone into the headphones business. You can read about their 5.1 headphones here.

I use a headset from TRUST that I am very satisfied with.
