Dead Men Raiding's healers and tanks were thoroughly tested this week after spending time with the heroic version of the Chimaeron encounter. It took a while to get a stable strategy, but we persisted, adjusted and finally got the kill tonight. Big applause goes to the healers for their fantastic efforts and to the tanks for the constant taunt and cooldown rotations!

2 of 13 heroic fights now defeated and DMR are now 10th on the EU-Aszune realm for 10-man raid progress and 14th Alliance guild overall!

WoW progress updates pretty quickly these days, especially when all the officers log off and click the 'update guild progress' button!

It lifts the progress off the achievements of guild members, so when we get the new heroic kill achievement, armory updates and wowprogress scrapes it from there.

It's a nice way to track how we are doing relative to others.

Dead Men Raiding:
World rank: 12543
EU Rank: 6778
EU English Rank: 2920
Realm Rank: 21 (all factions, all raid sizes)
Realm Alliance Rank: 14th (all raid sizes)
Realm 10 Man Rank: 10th (all factions)

The Chimaeron fight is a major differentiator though:

Previous DMR boss kills were about 10,000th-13,000th EU kill.
The Al'Akir kill was the 9,875th EU kill.
The Nefarian kill was the 8,365th EU kill.
The HC Halfus kill was the 8,764th EU kill.
The HC Chimaeron kill was the 5,786th kill.

So you can see our progress jumped quite a bit with the HC Chim kill.

As for the next HC encounter, there's still only 5,600 EU guilds to have killed HC Atramedes and 4,400 to have killed HC Maloriak. More progress is ours to take if we work hard at it.
