BattleField 3 - Forum Badge Design Contest

OK Folks... We've got a wee competition for you creative types!! This is a chance for you to put "your mark" on the forums.

We need to design a new forum badge for BF3. As it's just a weany badge, you'll need to keep the detail reasonable so it doesn't turn into a "blob of ink in a square".

Specfically:

. Forum badges need to be save as .PNG files at 32x32 pixels
. They need to be in the same style'd background as current ones (i.e. with the reflective flash) so they look similar

We will take your design and layer it on top of our standard badge colours.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IN FRIDAY 21st OCTOBER AT NOON

WINNING SUBMISSSION TO BY CHOSEN BY THE BC2 ADMINS.

I've done a google search and there are some icons out there but they aren't brilliant. Also, I don't have a clue as to how the current badges have been made, the exact colours, and the "reflection" at the top.

I like your badge style but what I would like to do is take the BF3 soldier, crop his head and make the badges around it. I've been able to get a descent res of the soldier's head and crop it, but I'm stuck as to how to get the colours and reflection correct.

Has anyone designed any of the other badges? what program did you use?

I think Zoot did the other badges, I havn't seen him around in a long time, a pm or something to see if hes about maybe?

We're working on that.

He's been offline for a couple of weeks but we have a request in to get blanks of all the badges so new games etc can be superimposed thereon.

If we don't hear back we'll do a house style and have the templates held centrally for whatever we need created.

They've been put into the dropbox and check GL.
