Discussing ship upgrades and maximum jump ranges last night, I thought I'd post a comparison of small ships in ascending rank of jump range. You can see that at 26+ Lyr for only 250K CR, the Hauler wins hands down.

But I'm sure Arithon knows, that I have to jump in and say that if you want to *do* anything when you get there, the Adder wins.

With three hardpoints, not one like the Hauler, the Adder is better equipped generally. You can carry 18T with an 18Lyr jump range (23 unladen) and have three weapons - one medium hardpoint.

If you reach this level in an Adder, the change to a Cobra is cheaper, but the Cobra will have a lot less range for the same money.
