I hope Whitey and Jas can contain their excitement for this, have a look at the reveal of Satisfactory which from my own looking at it, would seem Ark Subnautica and Factorio all got together and had a baby!

Have a look at the video here:

Looks good but *could* end up being a housekeeping nightmare.

It could be at first but then  the automation kicks in colour me interested!!!

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Nice!

Let's get a 4 player co-op going tonight?

I'll be around from 1800 or so no doubt, but will be doing some BFV at some point too :D !

no peanuts

It had a polished alpha, but is still in early access.
I picked it up for 1.99 on release, would be rude not too, right? :)

In terms of looks/colours it's maybe a little similar to subnautica. But not much in terms of gameplay. And I wouldn't compare it to Ark either.
Grinding seems minimal initially whilst you get the first factories up and running.

I would suggest playing this solo to start with, otherwise you'll whizz through available milestones quickly.
Game could turn into something nice depending on what else the dev's have planned for us.

Had a bit more of a read up on it after watching the video. I'll pass on this.

I'm really enjoying this atm. The idea of building a hideously complicated and efficient factory appeals to me! There seems to be plenty of depth here, with a good amount of solo playtime if the basic idea appeals to you. However, there is no dedicated server support, which makes co-op quite tricky - the host has to remain online throughout. As such, it's a little hard to recommend for group play right now, but I'd be keen to revisit this with some dMw when server support gets added in.

Lost 4 hours playing this this morning. So far so good.

Just quick tip:

Get chainsaw as soon as you can and keep it with you as it's only times I've died is when had to force respawn when glitching on trees, it's no a major issue but if you are out exploring it saves hassle
