Four Feathers

Watched this last night and was thoroughly "charmed" .........Not a mainstream movie (sorry Chimpy, no car chases or gunfights!!), and fairly slow moving, but if you are a lover of History, and the British Empire in particular, the film revovles around a group of friends (soldiers) and their imminent posting to the Sudan.

Trials and tribulations a'plenty for these Royal Cumbrians and although not obvious from the title it revolves around one of the group being accused of cowardice.

Lots of Desert, scarlet tunics and stiff upper lips but a good film to watch with the wife\girlfriend and a few glasses of wine..........and the chance to see a British Square in action against the Mardhi's (although you will undoubtably question why the cannon's were not deployed?!!)

Cinematography was excellent, acting polished and the outcome?...........well let's just say it might give you a warm glow
