Holiday Web Sites

Holiday web sites, there's so many of them it gets boring looking.

Anyone used/ can recommend a few good sites for me and the missus to narrow down to?

We need to go anywhere, perferrably with cheap/ free beer, decent cost, 10 - 14 nights, on the weekend of 18th August.

Much appreciated.

Next question, where to go, anyone got any good reports from holidays recently? Can you tell I'm, not well travelled yet?  :whistle:

I like northern Majorca, somewhere like Pollenca, close enough to Alcudia if you want to go get pished, nice beaches.

Pollenca itself has a fair few bars, some good outdoorsy cafe things, and is laid back enough to chill out.
Majorca is small enough to drive round, there is some poncey crap, caves, art and all that, hot weather, did I say nice beaches, and beer all over.

I like it anyway.

Cyprus is pretty fun I seem to recall.

I can recommend Mallorca, Tenerife, Crete.
Not only drinking and beach and stuff but also for the culture part.

You need hot and humid or a bit cooler?

Northern France is lovely. Denmark is cool for the nightlife. bermuda has lovely beaches. Scotland is wet

Netherlands is nice to do aswell, over at my place riding cycles through the woods and also nice towns and so.

Ace thanks lads. Missus wants to go to some place call Curacao, or another one called Caracas. Both sounds very far away and expensive . She can go on her own and I'll go to Majorca .

I just got back from a lovely holiday in Wales(hopes you are all jealous) I must admit the welsh r really good hosts and i will definately go back so i suggest looking at the welsh tourist board site on from google! Also i would recommend Holiday Inn Express as a hotel! The staff were superb and made a really good effort with our holiday and making sure we were enjoying our stay! I stayed in the Pontypool One but i would definately recommend them to anyone! They treated us like 5 star customers but it was just brilliant! Room was tidy and all new to a very high standard hope this is some help Albert!
