Needed, webspace

Hello all, for my school project I might need some webspace like 25-30 MB and we need to be able to go on the site by some pasword thingy and so. Since I'm a complete n00b on these things, who can tell me a bit more about how to use and maybe maintain the site? The webspace is more important though. It seems that the others in my finalstudygroup know a bit more about this stuff.
I hope you know what I'm on about.

I know some webspace sites and so were put on the forum once and hopefully a few of you used them by know, any suggestions on that?
