DDR RAM prices set to rise

Buy now, while you can buy at current prices.  If Hynix Semiconductor’s US$4 billion bailout from creditors this week does not keep it afloat then prices will rise as DDR oversupply moves to undersupply says Taiwan DRAM makers.

The bailout has incited a protest from rival Micron Technology, but Taiwanese DRAM competitors say it is going to take more than a debt extension to keep the South Korean memory maker afloat in the long term.
