As xmas is getting closer day by day, and I'm thingking about leaving DVD's to past, because Blue-ray really looks awesome and I need my 37" lcd tv in a better use
So I'm buying a Blue-ray player, but not sure should I only buy a player or maybe ps3 ? I have heard that ps3 is working better than most of the good players out on the market. But it is expensive... so anyone got it, is it worth it ?
About the playing with ps3, I might play some driving games or like guitar hero, but I mainly play with pc. That means I'm not buying it because of the games. They are just a bonus.

I've got one and it's fantastic as a media player. I've got rid of my expensive DVD player too as the PS3 upscales DVD's really well too.

It hooks up to a NAS device for music and photos so all round is a great media center. Oh, and it does play games as well :narnar:

I'm planning to get the PS3 with that new "PlayTV" dual-freeview tuner thing Sony released recently :D

Get the PS3. Blu-Ray looks stunning from it, the price isn't bad and if you go to a game shop in a few months you might be able to cheaply pick up GTA IV and you'll want nothing more in an entertainment system.
I plan to get GTA IV on the PC when it comes out (with better graphics), but the PS3 version looks great anyway.
If Blu-ray players were around £40 I'd think twice but they're not, and you can fold on the PS3 too.
