Commander/Squad Leader volunteer roster

Armitage came up with a great idea - like my class/role roster - he suggested we have a 'pool' of people who actually do enjoy/are willing to play Commander or Squad Leader.

I strongly agree - last night we had one game where the SL was being passed around like a hot potato!!! Which put our side at a complete disadvantage.

SO...On this thread can we have the names of people who are willing to play either/or Commander or Squad Leader please.

Obviously think hard - if you do put your name down, expect to be asked to do it (I guess we could rotate through any list we get).

I actually liked playing as commander, but I understand that is off at the moment

I wouldn't mind being SL if I am asked to do so. Otherwise I pass it on to someone else with my insta-SL-swap key (courtesy Ranger I think)

I was doing quite well as commander way back in the old days before AAS so count me in.

As I have said somewhere else I don't think I'm SL or commander material, at least not yet. I haven't played the game enough, so I'm still in the getting-my-ass-shot-off-phase. Being commander or even SL would most likely end in certain doom for my team (or at least a lot of running around in circles screaming like girls   )

I'll play any position but on your own head be it.

I don't mind being commander but on the one match where I have been commander I was absolutely knackered by end of the first half and asked OB to take over. We might want to consider swapping Commanders at half match poit (ie when we swap sides) That way everyone gets a chance to go kill things and we get a fresh commander second half.

Will play whatever is asked of me, but would rather avoid the Commander seat (I'm not a strategist).

Don't mind playing as Squad Leader.

I like having a say in the tactics (and I'm sure my SL's love me for it ) so I could take on the SL role sometimes. I prefer to be in the middle of the battle and have a tendancy to shoot teammates who suddenly spawn next to me when I am SL :blush: Commander is good also but I miss the action too much. Think I'm of more use on the ground in the middle of it all
