Hay Lib!

I would say SF. I think with AAS route the SF maps will be great as the all seem very urban.

Also it would be good to have the first SF AAS server :)

grump missed out had to work till 3am

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

DuVeL

I dropped in last night aswell. I've downloaded the newest patch 3 times before it would finally work  <_<.
GG's were had although some people should need glasses  ;). Running over some big red skulls with a vehicle is not good for your health, especially 2 times.  :lmfao:

For the rest, I played some sniping because s_monkey had a nice spot where he got me from. I then decided to be a sniper aswell. Nice try a couple of times to sneak around in the back s_monkey. But I got you babe. 8).

Best thing that happend to me last night was me versus 2 snipers and an assault guy and I managed to survive them.   Oldie finally got me when he flanked me and that was at the end of the round.
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...

I have to own up as one of thje drivers that went over the mines - though to be fair they were just over the crest of the hill, and I couldn't see thjem as I turned my jeep round!

...That's my excuse anyway!

It's funny actually - I normally place mines on the opposite crest of a hill so the enemy can't see them but friendlies can! (Not attibuting blame - was still my own fault). The way they were placed was on the side of teh crest that the enemy could see coming up the hill - but which we couldn't see coming over and down the hill.

But maybe that was just my perception.

:)

I tried sniping last night ~ failed miserably! Couldn't get a headshot ~ maybe need more practise...

On the other hand I did well with the Special Ops M4 - got some nice sniped shots with that. Didn't quite have C4 sorted though.

Mainly last night I got back into Squad Leading - now I have my mic back. Really missed that.

All in all, great night - nice to be able to speak to you lads again (I don't think I quite have my levels right yet ~ I was told my mic icon was constantly open?).

Cheers, guys!

Yes a good night. So many ppl! We should do these "are you joining the slaughter tonight"-threads some more, since it seems they are the reason so many ppl joined.

Another thing that helped last night is that I got a lot of messages via X-Fire...

Quite a few people were checking round those signed into X-Fire to make sure they were going on the server OR just to say hello (either way it encourage you to get your ass on the server)!

:)

I was chatting to folk an hour before the match really got started around 8pm. Kinda got me in the right mood.

You sniped me more times than I care to remember!!! Or maybe it was the M4.... I ended up dead, anyway   :D

The best fight is in the city maps!

I went to the server cause I wanted a game. Only four people including me. But I figured more would show up. And they (you) did!

I don't use X-fire, but everytime I want a game of BF2, I go to the DMW server, and stay on it for at least 45 minutes. It never fails: People show up, and the game becomes good.

The 6 vs 6 in the city maps yesterday was terrific!!!

Dewey

Wow guys, what a fantastic turn out last night (I counted over 22 people at one point) - and just as importantly everyone fought hard and I enjoyed every game  :D

Good to see some newer faces on there and some dmw guys who haven't played much BF2, who I SL earlier on Karkand *sorry guys I suck at SL*  :)  I don't think I'm cut out for it, I'm too aggressive and get shot too much.

Really enjoyed Karkand and Mashtuur City as usual.

Duvel, sorry for going over your mines matey, but they looked so inviting

Apologies to anyone who risked life and limb by getting in a buggy with me *ahem*

Blunt, did I GL you last night then?

I tried a few different classes last night and it was nice to have the unlocks of again, (thanks admins).

Support - Norm how the hell do you hit anything with this gun?

I was firing short bursts at a guy only about 15 m away as he came out of some water at the bridge near the railway accident on Karkland, I fired at him lots, he turned, shot me twice in the head and killed me, granted I couldnt' go prone as I was firing over a wall   :D

I LOVE the unlocked medic gun, lacking the stopping power of the Assault rifle, but its very accurate over med/long distance and up close it gives a medic full auto.

As is usual, I will name and shame bunnyhoppers.... last nights award for bunnyhopping like a bugger was ....*drumroll* KillCrazy.

Where? Dragon Valley - near the East Mine entrance on the corner of the building opposite the flag. I see Killcrazy prone behind a large gas bottle, he spots me. We pop a few of at each other. I drop a grenade on the right side of the bottle (hoping to disorientate him), I immediately sprint left of the bottle, he's stood up, we run past each other, I turn, go prone, begin firing at Killcrazy, who proceeds to bounce around like the easter bunny before killing me *at which pointed I politely pointed out to my team how bunny like he was  :D and also messaged everyone asking him to stop.

Killcrazy... how do you plead?  Killcrazy, anything you say, can and will be used against you before a dMw court of law :narnar:

But this didn't fail to take the shine of an excellent night  :dribble:

I was in your squad. You don't suck at SL-ing. You did quite alright.

mono_dna

Yeah, it was a really great night, even on FuShe Pass. Even if I had to be SL, which I suck at ;)

(Why is there no inter-squad-comm?!? It would be really cool if you could speak directly with the other SL's. I know that's what the commander's there for, but anywho...)

Really tough Karkand too!

Ranger:
You don't need an m24 or m95 as long as you've got the m4 mate - you got me too many times on the first Mashtuur, whereas I couldn't hit shite with the F2000 or G3  :P  I eventually switched back to the good ol' Kalashnikovski :D

As for tonight - I might be there. It depends on various stuff... But I sure want to :)
