heres the setup ime planning for my rogue, this char will be a plain killing machine used to grind tyrs hand/other locations mostly for money

ime going to be using sin stirke quite a lot, and ime planning for swords as weapons

i also need a good %chance of getting some quick energy back (without cooldown) so the downtime after each kill is absolute minimal(hence why i chose relentless strikes)

also need some good dodge/parry so i minimise the dam i take, thus again reducing downtime after a kill

what do you think?

not bad, but id trade remoseless attacks for imp eviscrate and murder

i use evis only :) allthough at my current gear level S&D would prob mean more dmg.

well i view it from this point, rack up 5 combos, slice ndice, some more combos and then evis. then i should still have the slice ndice effect when  i move to the next target, which leads to a better chance for crits

well, for swords, remorseless isnt very good, for a seal fate daggers build it is truely awesmome for pvp and grinding.

personally, i'd lose the remorseless, put 3 into SnD, take 4 from dodge and put 3 into gouge, 1 into adrenaline rush, and add the remaning two points to imp kick.

giving: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/t...000000000000000

SnD > evisc for combat builds, (assuming your gear is of a fairly good level), combat isnt about burst damage, its about sustaining a relatively high level of dps which is mostly white damage. a 30% increase of white damage will on average bring you more damage than a evisc.

murder isnt really very good for combat swords - the beauty of the build is that it doesnt rely on an opener from stealth. murder only helps the openers, plus precision in combat does nearly the same thing, execpt it works on all attacks.

adrenaline rush gives you the raw power to knock down high level elites very VERY quickly. combine it wtih blade flurry and you can get dps figures of around 1000 (with blue weapons) on pairs of mobs in tyr's and kill both with very little hp loss.

and imp kick... guaranteed to silence a caster for 2 seconds? yes plz!

Sinap

Is that the build you had a few months ago Mene when I played your char a few times? When I found them Stonegrip Gauntlets, because if it is, that build is awesome for smashing the shit out of everything very quickly.

Menedil

that would be good... if throwing weapons werent completely useless :D

if your going for a dagger build, you really should get 10 in subtlety for the imp damage from attacking from behind. 20% extra on a backstab makes a lot of difference.

my choice for a combat based dagger build would be:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/t...050000000000000

but then your gimped for pvp and grinding cos of slow combo point generation without seal fate, and SS does jack all damage with daggers.

Edit: oh, and adrenaline rush with daggers will get you killed very very very very very very fast in instances :P

Luminance

Misclicked the 2 point should have gotting in Evasion not in trowing :S

alhana

you only need 2 point in imp snd to keep it active all the time. cheap shot -> snd -> ss/riposte ++ (until snd is running out), use blade flurry whenever you can -> use evisc as a finisher when enemy is below certain life.

dont bother with imp gourge, this isn't a stunlock build.

almost like my build, except i can't live without camouflage, to lazy :P

and with pvp. with adrenaline rush and blade flurry up, you can do huge amount of damage in no time...

JanuZ

I am going to change to this build now.

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/t...505000003120010

I just love Preperation and since i find myself using swords more then daggers the 21/8/22 build isn't as good.

Only thing i am wondering about now is if i should change one point in elusiveness to Ghostly strike.

Bastet

i had ghostly strike for a long while, but i didnt find it perticulary usefull tbh

Nefrion

This is my current build.

I am very satisfied with it and I think it gives me some good damage in instances and I can stun lock when grinding.

Id like some feed back on my build and would love if you have any suggestions to improve it.

You dont really need a specific build that allows for soloing once you get your gear up to tier 1, unless you want to kill lvl 58+ elites, and that build you had is nice, untill you get good weapons, then you can eviscrate too much (afaik the highest agro move for a rogue, more then backstab) and its very eazy to pull agro, trust me i know, i used to have a build like that :P

now here is the talents that a dagger rogue could do w/ for maximum backstab dmg:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/t...050000000000000

It leaves 13 points to be distributed as ppl see fit.

For a solo sword/sword spec

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/t...000000000000000

Which is nice, but ultimately daggers apear to do more dmg, spes if you manage to get hold of a PB.
