Trouble on MH tonight

We had a very bad PCS night on MH. There were some characters that made life miserable for all of us.

Abuses:
-Abusive language both Voice and Say
-Boundaries
-Fraghunting
-Accusing other players of boundary breaking (when they themselves didn't know them)
-TW and TK

I think that we shouldn't put up with this at all. I know that the admin standards say that we should issue warnings etc. But regulars dropped or switched to Baldric just to get away from these assholes.

I think that we should just kick them directly or just do a direct ban. It is obvoius that they haven't read the rules or boundaries.

I think that Toxeth know some of these dubious types and that they got the password from him.

do we have any way to contact them and give them a warning?? if not kick and ban

if they enjoy MH they will say sorry and want to come back if not its no great loss

but i was not there so ill keep out of it :wink:

After the match last night I stayed on Baldric until someone came onto Baldric and said they had suffered enough on MH for the night due to non-PCS players with foul langauge and bad attitudes. I went over to MH with Sadako and found we were on cs_shogun. All the Ts were running aorund the outside of the map (where the CTs should have been).

I ended up spending my whole evening (and I mean the whole evening) after the match until about 12.30am, killing myself and then spectating the other players to enforce PCS limits and gameplay. I dod NOT have a fun evening

I kicked asyl once from shogun for ignoring PCS limits (after a stern on screen warning for ALL Ts to get back into the house) and ignoring warnings.

asyl is the peeps from [R*]ejected Clan who was asked not to recruit form our servers earlier this week. Not only was he ignoring PCS limits again tonight but I also caught him pimping his clan again. I kicked him the second time for that.

Barr and Rikku were continuously ignoring PCS limits and voice-spamming. They were also engaging in both pre-emptive and retaliatory TWing. I eventually kicked Barr from de_piranesi for continued foul langauge. Unfortunately I was too busy watching asyl & barr to follow Rikku for much time.

Personally I vote we add them to the ban list. If the contact us then we can discuss shortneing the ban if appropriate, but I would not mind if I never see them again on the MH.

I would stress that this is why MHPCS membership list should be changed.

We HAVE to be able to sort out those who should have the pw from those who have been given the pw by their friends so that they can have a 'pissed' night of fun at the expense of PCS on our servers. The Admins should be bale to check this in game, or we should have a mod that allows auto-checking of WONIDs on the way in to the server. Likewise, the Admins then need access to the contact details for each individual so that if any transgression occurs, they have a route to contact the individual to explain why they were kicked.

We MUST get a handle on this type of control fairly quickly - a few more nights like last night and our regulars (who were already moaning last night) won't bother coming back.

I think that they had all their chances last night. As I wrote above regulars switched to Baldric to avoid these people. This server imo is for those who want to play PCS. The fraghunters we saw last night should be kicked/banned just to show that we mean business. We are way to lenient towards these guys. They destroyed the entire evening for all those who wanted to play PCS.

If I see any similar play tonight I will start kicking without futher ado. Banning I leave up to you.

I watched Rikku on de_dust2 and we was the worst fraghunter I have ever seen. He ran to B when bomb was going A and vice versa. He continuously used bad language in voice that he toned down after I over voice threatened to kick him right there and then if he didn't tone down.

The question we should ask us is: would we miss them if we ban them?

Answer: No not at all. We have a PCS community that fills the servers every night. It will only be better if we remove them. We will not lose any regulars because of fragmonkeys.

These people just dont care, I honestly dont care about mildley upsetting them, ban em.

It is our community that we need to protect, and if we do get a couple of wankers coming in and spoiling it all then we need to remove them 'for the greater good'

As for membership, it should be moderated. Say a page where they enter their details, this posts the details to a database, then notifies the admins that there is a registration pending. If the person checks out then the admin can 'activate' the account and a password is mailed to the player.

There could also be an admin section to this that lists all of the players with all their details, a box for comments, and maybe a couple of warning boxes. Get ticks in all of the boxes and they are banned

I could look at doing this with php and mysql. Should be fairly straight forward, and I like a challenge
