Jas gets kicked off a server

I thought I would post this fiasco to show what problems are out there in the wonderful world of public CS. It highlights how good our admin system is and shows how bad others can be. I have removed names of individuals and servers as we are not in the business of flaming the way other people run things

Next round, I said "Jonny, please don't block" - I probably added "you
TANGOing noob" on the end, but that was to be expected. You replied "live with it", which was more the response of someone who didn't give a TANGO about team mates or team play and thought it was fun to block and not apologise.

Obviously, my view maybe somewhat biased, and my memory maybe not 100%
accurate, but there were other admins playing who had a different
perspective that might be more agreeable to your point.

I apologise for shooting you, perhaps you would be so kind as to be more

Anyway ..it made me smile to think thats it's ok to F and Blind because someone was in your way

Shoot them so that they get stunned and cant move if they wanted to

Expect them to say sorry after you have hurled vulgar abuse and TK'ed them then kick them if they don't

All I can say this is a server many of dMw frequent :thumbsdown: Ill not be going back

Ahwell. Atleast good to hear you had a game of CounterStrike again.

We have our own public server (Razer). If we get in the habit of hanging around there instead of on BOD etc then things will pick up again.

I didnt think it did. I'm just suggesting that people seem to go there in preference to our server and that seems daft!

Ah okay, well, I've stopped playing for a bit, need a rest of gaming, will be back fulltime after my holiday which will start this Saturday.

And JAS, the admins are allways right (atleast most of the time). ;-)

Fraid theres a lot of servers out there with poor or no management at all. On the other side theres also alot that have good admins. I tend to play on like a handfull of servers (maybe 2-3).

I understand BB's point about using razor more but i have had it with publics. I spend more time getting fed up with the lack of teamwork and the trash talk than i do enjoying the game.. Every now and again Ill dip my toe in but I'm soon reminded how poor they are. Even the better ones don't come close to a single game on the hook.. Ooh its Friday :clap:
