 Well, anyway. Finally came from Boomer & Meathook on CSS to the forums. Uh... looking forward to a promotion ( positive thinking :woot2: ). Well, just so that this thread isn't absolutely meaningless, here's some stuff about me & mah gaming history...

 Ah started gaming at 5 on Age of Empires 1, in 1999. I can still remember beginning to cry as the Monument timer started going down. I went on through early childhood, playing single player games such as Red Faction, Max Payne, MOHAA, AoE2, Warcraft 3 etc.

 It wasn't until quite recently (11 years old) that we got a broadband connection, and I started playing online. My first online game was Runescape, and I played that for quite a while. Also, we where a member of Gabitas, and we had a Japanese student called Toshiaki staying at our house during ex-years (And we still do.). He was the same age as me, and with the study PC and mine, we played Co-op on Diablo 2, Age of Empires 2, and Battle Realms. Then after a while of going through that routine, I read a review about HL2, and jumped onto the net to get the game.

 I had awesome fun playing HL2, and I completed the single player missions within 2 weeks. It was then that I discovered Counter Strike: Source. Thinking it was a single player game, I booted up the game. I looked at the menu for a while, wondering where on earth Single Player was. After not finding it, I clicked on Find Servers, out of curiosity. A long list came up, and I didn't have a clue what was going on. I saw the 'Connect to Game' button in the bottom right, and I connected to a 13/24 cs_assault server, my hopes up high.

 As the game loaded, and I saw the chat going on, saw the amazing graphics that where the same as HL2, I grinned and jumped in. So it was that 'unnamed' started playing.
 I went through a lot of names, starting of as 'Blur', and going through 'Icehawk', 'Wéírd Víbés', 'Víbés', and the same ones over and over again, until finally settling on TechNical (Named after the GLA Technical on Command & Conquer Generals, pronounced the way they say it).

 Somewhere between Blur and Icehawk I stopped playing CSS, after getting World of Warcraft for Christmas. I went straight up to my room later in the day, installed the game, updated, and logged in. I created my first character then, a Human Mage named Icehawk, a RolePlaying character. I also joined the RP forums immediately, and quickly built up a reputation for being mature that I still uphold today. Anyway, over time I made it to level 31. This had taken me an entire year. I realised that I didn't enjoy it that much. I wasn't a good PvEr, and sucked at PvP and there wasn't anyone to RP with (Godamned the leet kiddies who can't stick to their own servers!!!). So I canceled my subscription, got given access to a friends account (For forum posting only) and went back to CSS, Dawn of War Dark Crusade, and Guild Wars (Essentially the same as WoW, but no subscription). This happened a week ago. I now play regularly on Boomer and Meathook (When there's anyone else there...), along with my best mate Tali (Etérnal UK), who I've known for around 10 yrs. I also play Guild Wars with him (We're both noobs) and Dark Crusade with him (Yay for duo's!)

 Well, there's my life of gaming. No other part of my life is important xD.

We allready have an IceHawk here so that might cause something problems (although he is Dutch).

Heh. Thanks for the welcome :-). Oh, and aye, I saw Ice hawk. I actually got my name from a WoW player called Flamehawk, who's on the American forums. And aye, I'll stick with TechNical .

 Also, you might not see me around here as much as the servers, as...uh...


 Hmm. I'll come back to you on that >.<. I have a gut feeling that I won't be on DMT much. xD.
