Stress is a killer mate, it can raise BP and pretty much do anything.
Have you tried going alcohol and caffeine free?

Do you get a high tempreture too?

whilst on holiday I had a hardcore night on the brandy I woke up qat 6am with uncontrollable shakes and a very high temp.

Thankfully it went away after about 2 hours and hasnt happened since touch would.

Think it could of been something I ate though.

Hope it all gets sorted for you soon mate.

I get the shakes when waking up after a long night out drinking heavily, not sleeping can do it on its own as well, too much pepsi as well yes, etc. but this does not relate to those shakes. This comes and goes as it sees fit. Either on top of the other shakes, or on its own. Temperature, hm, no... don't think so? Cheers for idea though.

My BP is apparently a wee bit high. I thought it wouldn't be since my physical condition is quite okay, I have a resting pulse when waking up about 50bpm, but apparently the bpm has nothing to do with that. The last two checks on the pressure has been 150 over 95, whatever that means...

As someone whose blood pressure that has to be controlled, I can tell you that 150 over 95 is high for someone of your age, weight (you still the same as when I last saw you?) and level of fitness. I would have thought 120 over 80 would be the norm. Didn't your doctor comment on it?

If anything I am in better physical shape than last time you and I met. A bit smaller/lighter though.

That he did. Monday morning I will pick up a portable meter at the doc which I have to wear for 24 hours and tuesday we will see how the BP has been in that period.

Some friends say 129/60 should be suitable for me (?) Apparently it is 100+ age for the first number, that is when your heart squeezes blood out into the body. So I should be 129. 80 for the other number is even too high apparently. Hm... Means I have the BP of an average 45-50-year old :(
