No sponsor and noone in here he knows?
His name looks familiar, but I can't recall ever playing with him. He must have been in RG2 for only a very short while too (neutral with hydraxian 1961/3000).
 
His gear looks good and he obviously has Kara and heroic experience (exhalted with all TBC factions that matter).
 
I have to agree with Duk, his application doesn't look very appealing. However we do need more people if we want to have a second Kara group and/or start Gruul. He looks ok, it can't harm to give him a try imo.

I do remember him from my RG2 days.. Was with us just a short time but he was a nice fellow
 
Played a heroic instance with him just a few weeks ago and he did handle his class very well and as Sandrion says we need more ppls if we ever want a crack at gruul :boxing:

why say yes: we only have 1 raiding rogue (possibly 2 with aloha) *which is now busy with house moving*.  we are aiming to get another kz group running and gruul later on..

as tea said, we aint in a position to be so demanding anymore, so imo we should give him a chance. if he doesnt do well, just kick him

#1: That's the most crappy filled out application form I've seen in a long while.

#2: He doesn't have a sponsor, nor does he even know anyone in the guild.

#3: On the last meeting, we said basically 1 more of each class - we have already recruited a rogue. And if we were to take some extra of any of the classes, I guess rogue ain't the one we should prioritize.

#4: Ice if busy moving now, yes - but he'll probably be back in good time before we are ready to start Gruul's.

Well, put it this way: if we accept this player (and imho, I think we should, if only to give us more activity / competition for KZ raids) are we changing policy to a why say no policy?

What was said, was that we shouldn't aim for a full 25man on our own, but enough people to be able to make a good alliance with another guild. Whether this should be changed or not could be a question, but in that case it is something that should be debated more closely beforehand.

Not necessarily, as we agreed to loosen a bit on how strict we should be due to recruitment needs. But as we've already filled the rogue spot, I think we should hold back a bit.

My vote is still no. I'll go with the majority, but I think there at least should be a general consensus about it.
As a compromise, we also have the alternative to put him on hold.

today we had 12 signups for the raid, thats 8 away from an sog 2nd kz group and 13 away from a full sog gruul group, not mentioning, neither dream, soul and ice signed up.  and we have a couple that are finishing their attunements and want to raid, lusingan is one of them.  rumeran should also be joining us.  considering all this, an alliance wont be needed (which is good in a way, since managing just our members is better then having to face others, not to mention fighting on drops)
