Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

There's a thin line between fishing and just standing on a river bank holding a rod.

I'll get me coat

well today was mainly a failure!

i got to the bank at 4am and the river was being pumped so, the water was far to fast to fish. so i then drove for another hour to a diffrent river, and the fishing was sh!t. so i went home, had a couple of hours sleep and some food. went out and tryed yet another river but gave up after a couple of hours as there were far to many weeds. soim going out to get some pike later to night, should be easy if i go at about 6 or 7 to get the evening rise

I had a fantastic stream on the farm that I lived on. Nice brook trout in there, cooked up great with a bit of butter. Yummy.

Oh, and worms were never a problem, just root about in a 10 year old muck heap gets plenty of worms and the trout go mad for em!

Used to do a bit of sea fishing on my old boat, but prefer fresh. Nice and peaceful.

landed a cracker of an old trout at a local club once. She smelt of halibut though.
