im cool for anything as my braking places are the same all the time, i dont notice the wind

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

All my worries about having a field full of turnips came to nothing in the end. Apart from one small glitch from yours truly who forgot to put in '1 hour' command, the race got off to a fine start. At least I don't recall hearing too many cries of anguish except that of Deetz who somehow found himself at the back of the grid! Nevertheless, he ran a spirited race and despite having to pass me 3 times on account of some mishap or other, ended up with the winner's garland round his neck.(They don't do that anymore do they?) For myself, I ran a steady race, kept out of trouble and just had 5th place nicked from under my nose by OldBloke
Bloody nose nicker!
Well done delanvital for completing the race despite saying "I'm only here for a bit of practice" and well done to anyone else that ended up behind me.
Oh, commiserations to Vobler who hadn't paid his internet bill and got disconnected

Good job everybody finishing. I can't remember seeing delanvital before...he did very well.

Yes, the race was very good. I felt that the no wind options helped to adjust the brake points and eased the driving in general. Not that it would have been too easy anyway.

I cannot remember that there had happened so much in the first half. After I pitted I dropped down to the 3 place from the 2nd place where I had been for a short time. Altrezia had just managed to get past me while I was rolling out of pit.

I started to chase Altrezia and I felt I was slowly getting after him, but then at lap 30 my mouse got one of those 'fits' and my car made sudden turn left and dived into the pit wall.

My first thought was 'ok, here was my race'. I checked the damage and I noticed the left side suspension arms had bended. I decided to try drive the car anyway. Altrezia had managed to get too far and it was questionable if I was even able to finish.  I drove the first lap slower and noticed the front left tyre camber was basicly negated - it was eating the outside edge heavily. Every right turn I had to try take slower for not to blow the tyre. I had 2 choises: Go to pit and fix it or try to limp the final 7-8 laps. As I noticed Romus wasn't so far behind me, I decided to try make it without a pit stop.

I don't know when Romus noticed that he was getting closer, but it was soon getting worrying if I was able to keep my 3rd place. Romus was clocking steady 1:36 laps and my lap times had gone down 1.5 secs. Even I was able to finish 3rd it was quite close as in the end Romus was only 2.4 secs behind.

I did something stupid in the lap 17 and fell about 15-20 seconds behind Aquilifer. I thought that the 4th position would be mine no matter what I did, so I was going to drive 1:47´s till the finish. Then I however got one 1:46 and at about the same time saw something going wrong with Aquilifer, so I got a new start for my race. Last 10 laps were my best ever online, so I'm actually very happy for the race, even though with better fighting I could have been on the podium.

I'm getting a feeling that soon (soon can mean a few months already at this age) I will be able to compete all through the race. Now I'm trying to finish the race and gather some experience. I still make some novice mistakes, like have accidentally >5% for tyre changes in pit settings or something else that stupid.

I would still like to comment this combo a bit. At first it was frightening, I was literally shaking after about the first 20 laps, it was so exciting to fly through corners. Then with more experience it was already boring, too much downforce and grip, and the track felt too clean. I hope that future releases would make the track surface more lively.
