Awesome sound.

In newer times I quite like the V8 in the Koenigsegg. I recorded this in Falsterbo, Sweden, in '04 before they closed this very initimate and fun venue (nice, old-fashioned, little town turned into a track for a day. Not much speed, but still a cool experience). And no, it is not me but some very enthusiastic swede next to me almost wetting his pants every two seconds.

That sounded LOUD and reminded me when I was about 10ish hanging around a slipway into Lake windermere watching boats being launched when a large old wooden hydroplane arrived and was dropped into the water. It had some huge, possibly ex airplane engine in it with open headers down both sides. I was stood about 2 mtrs away when they fired it up, I thought armageddon had arrived and ran away as fast as I could.
