BF2 - Last chance saloon

There continues to be a serious lack of numbers using our BF2 server on Monday nights so it's now down to you, the members, to decide if we continue to support this excellent game.

So Monday 16th June 2008 is your last chance to show your support. Quite simply ... Use it or lose it.

If the support for BF2 is to continue then not only must it attract players but those players must work together as a team to complete the objective. Yes, our ethos fits perfectly well in BF2 so join a squad and make good use of the in-game comms to devise and execute a plan of attack/defence.

Here are some very simple tips to keep people interested ...

If the server's empty then join and wait for others to join too.
If initial numbers are low then agree to fight over a single flag until more join.
If numbers are low then agree to stick to infantry only.
Make sure that the teams are balanced.
Squad Leaders - issue clear objectives to your squad. Make use of the in-game 'attack/defend here' commands.
Admins - restart the map when everyone's joined.

The only map available on Monday will be Karkand so no heli/plane junkies to worry about.

Remember if our server is taken down please keep an eye out on Ventrilo for those who still play.

I have compiled a list of people who do regularly play and can be seen on vent on a regular basis.

As a rule of thumb If you want a bf2 game please join vent.

Sorry guys I only just dropped by here no, so didnt know Monday was a call to arms. It's light nights and I have lots of jobs demanding my attention right now so I just havent had the time to play. I think thats true for most of the BIG boys too.
