Are some maps 4 player only? I ask as yesterday the server was showing 4/8 but when I tried to connect it said "Server is Full"

I'm connecting through the Vista sidebar gadget which has worked flawlessly so far.

Unfortunately when there are only three of us on there we sometimes switch to the 'non-vs' maps in 'vs' mode for a bit of variation, this means that you still play versus, but only 4 connections are allowed, even though 8 are showing.

If this happens when you are trying to get on, then try and grab one of the people playing through friends, to tell the admin on the server that someone's waiting to get on and they can set it back to one of the stock maps.

It will be an admin who has set the map to a 4 player one anyway, so they'll probably still be on the server.

Because they require a lot of processing power for the AI. We have stated that once the new server (BA4) is installed we will run a second server on that if there is the deamnd

It's normally me that has flipped the map. Just buzz me in friends and I'll change it back to 8 vs.

I'm online most nights, if not any admin should be able to do it through HLSW.

I'm sure that is it possible to change the maps using the vote options. Just catch someone who is playing on Steam Friends and ask them to change, and if they like you and you're not called 'DA the chicken who runs away and leaves you to die, only to get thrown off the chopper' then you might get lucky.
