I was contacted by both Bastet and Marduk yesterday who both expressed an interest in the new guild, in fact it was a preference not an interest.

Thoughts?

ummmm, we have had quite a few issues with them in the past.

they are dedicated players but imo the reason that they formed RA was becuase they constantly clashed with the eithics and feelings of most other people and were generally selfish, personally doubt this has changed. I know there are a lot of other issues behind a lot of things but i feel that this is something that they never control, or attempt to control.

Again comes back to what we want DMR to be.
Is it all people we like to play with or are we going for a high end game guild.
For me personally i want a Dead Men Walking WoW Guild which is people with the right attitude........do they have the right attitude?

I am afraid i dont know these 2 enough to comment.
I do remember Marduk having some issue with me but it was only over me being picked over his brother.

im not fully against giving these 2 membership. but would be VERY against any sort of power given to them

Bastet is Bastet....make no mistake.
Met him on the dam trip and he seems a nice bloke in the flesh and is a damned fine wow player to boot....However i've not been in a guild with him since SoG and he did have a bit of an abrasive side to him which just seemed to rub people up the wrong way (remember that the Dutch guys are all quite direct when it comes to issues as opposed to our reserved Empiric ways:))

Duk is cool, always helpful and i for 1 never had a prob with him.

I think they would be good additions for a raiding base of people, If it doesnt work out then we let Sheepy loose on em :boxing:
