Insurgency mod on dMw server

I noticed a lot of ''single man squads''. I think that for the start we could try to set up 2 or 3 members teams and try to stick with them. Every team would follow the squad commanders orders and by that we could get it more tactical.
    The games yesterday were good but I think that a lot of ppl had some kinds of connection problems on the server.. At least I did.

We had connection/lag issues to begin with but once I asked Blunt to restart it, I think it was fine.

Perhaps next time we are all on (I think there are six of us at least who are giving this game a try) then yes three a side and those three concentrate on the game tactics and style.  

If other players join and don't get with the team tactics that's up to them (for now). The three-a-side dMw teams should concentrate on learning how to play the game better rather than trying to get other joiners (who often don't even talk) to join the team tactics.

We have played CS for 8 years now ... I still get killed by Browne when he is on the same team.  So, no they will not go away. :flirty::roflmao:

Just a couple of suggestions re the dMw Insurgency Server:

1) Any chance of a map rotation? A map rotation that would include the different Insurgency game types (see here for game types)

2) Is it possible to have an MOTD? Or some sort of rules for playing on the dMw Insurgency server?  I guess the MOTD would say similar things to the CSS MOTD with addition of 'Follow your leaders' orders and objectives'.  

3) What kind of powers do the admins have over players? Is it the normal kick, slay ban etc? Or are there more options such as moving to another team, promoting a player, messages to individual players or globally etc?

If a MOTD is possible I think the one from CS is a good base to alter from.

I thought normal CS-admin framework was put on this server but I can't do chat to all etc. Not sure what that is related to... biggest complaint is people camping at the opposition spawn.

We've now had a few tries with Insurgency and there isn't too much of publicity on the server I notice.. I've checked out the server almost every day and tried to get ppl on but after a 10 minutes it gets a bit lonely and desperate:tumbleweed:
So is there anyone else who's REALLY interested on the game??:crying:

Ah, Young Wolfie, you are there too early. To be honest, this game has got to me, I can see real possibilities for our style of play, as a matter of fact I think it was made for TCS style, but anyhoo, it takes a lot more time & patience than CSS. I try to keep an eye on the server, but other things get in the way sometimes (I'm talking about that fantasy "real life"). Be there wednesday after match.

I'd love to play Insurgency more WW (sorry couldn't get on last night after my L4D tryout).

I think those of us that play the game are thinking of Insurgency night being a Wednesday night.  I'll certainly try to play more if I can though playing ANY game with a busy working and private life is hard.
