Good luck and have fun!! :boxing:

oh and for the match admin....remember to start Source TV using RCONGUI before the match starts!

Browne

What a bloody shambles! Lads, I know its hard to get people to play matches on any given night, but last night was bloody ridiculous!

Point is: I take an hour from a busy schedule to prepare for & play a match...now, it wouldn't bother me if I never played one, but when I turn up for one, having done all the required stuff, I don't expect to have to sod off before the match starts. Admittedly, and I said as much before I left, there were much better players than me there, and I was glad of that.

When you have a team, you have a team....make sure that each person on the team knows it! POST THE TEAM IN THE THREAD. Do not have people turning up on the server when not on the team or when not there for preparation! This will not happen to me again.... You can depend on it...

Get it together lads...................

The team was posted in the first post off this thread Browne.:flirty:
That there where many off use was too prepare for the match nothing wrong with it.
Whe have done it before like this, warmup before whe start.
And like you said you offer too leave cos "there where better players then you".
This is not the point off being better, whe play as a team not alone.

EDIT: I do understand you post dont get me wrong here.

Our first match in ages so cut 'em some slack if you please.

I'm not following this either...some other dMw'ers offered to join the server to give us a warm up. I reckon it was probably good for them too as they could be the players playing in a match next time?

I think Declans point is that he was listed as being in the team but wasnt in the team for the match (unless I'm missing something too which is highly likely)

He chose to leave :crying: (could have played instead of me Declan, I was shocking!) and I think the general consensus was that he should have played (because he was listed), but he said he wasn't needed so left.

I just came for the warmup initially, but Browne decided to leave so I took his place. I had no problem with you playing Browne, I was just offering support. :)

We were only there as a help for the team, which I understood was Jabbs, KKND, Snokio, Sadako and Browne. In which we figured that if you lot played with eachother as a team agains 5 others who werent suppose to play the match, so you got a more ralistic feeling to the warm up and could discuss the tactic...... Obviously, we stepped on some toes by doing so, and it was not the intent at all, we just wanted to help. If we were unwanted, you could've said so.

well bringing this thread back on topic, I thought that even though I didn't play very well (sorry lads), this was my first competative (outside of dMw) match, and now having experienced it, I would feel more confident the next time if the oportunity arises.

I did seem to have a bit of a ping issue which was high (80-120+) which didn't help, and was more worried about lagging out and letting the team down than anything else, so I'm glad for the peeps who offered to sub / stand in.

We did have one or two problems, nothing too serious, and look forward to the next one!

Onwards and upwards! :boxing:

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?
