Squonk likes a drop too, worth getting his comments here. My particular favourite at the moment is a good old Jameson. Nothing flash. As it comes.

I could, of course wax lyrical about 30 year old x, y and z, but let's face it, credit crunch, whisky used to be £10 a bottle. If it strips paint, smells like nitromors and pours like treacle it must be good, right?

a few years ago i was playing hockey at raf cranwell and we went to this pub here, they have a room dedicated to whisky,
 
its well worth a visit if anyone who appricates whisky is in the area
 
they have over 700 differant whiskys prices ranging from £2.50 a tot up to £350 a tot:blink:

I enjoyed some nice whisky's over festive period the usual Glen Livets and Regals but one Malt that really caught my taste buds was the
Glenmorangie with a port wood finish.

Tried to get a bottle of Jameson last night couldnt find a bottle for less than £18 for 70cl
