L4D requires teamwork, this means not running off into the distance on your own. If your team-mates are in trouble you need to be there to help and, if you get attacked your team-mates cant help so the TEAM ends up a man down!!!

My latest annoyance is when the team splits into two groups and the people behind get in trouble. This has happened a few times to me recently.

I say at the start "Keep close and move fast". It's the most efficient way. Then they lag behind and get picked off by a smoker/hunter. You don't have to kill every single zombie, you have to get to the safe house.
It's equally as annoying as when a guy runs off on his own gets splattered and then needs healing up. A close group is the best way.

It's supposed to be a fun game that breeds teamplay, getting to the end of the level is secondary to having good teamplay, good comms and keeping your teammates alive. (Hang on that makes it fourth, what's the '`andary' equivalent of fourth.)

The rewards of the game reflect this.

Objective based gameplay.

Survivor Objectives:-
1. Get all four players to the safe room.
2. Stick together and communicate your strategy.

Infected Objective:-
1. Co-ordinate your attacks
2. Kill them all
3. Pick on the weakest :devil:

I'm very fortunate in having Liberator nanny me along. "Come on Doors, this way Doors, health pack there Doors, You're being tongued Doors, there's a hunter on you Doors. :lmfao: I can't go wrong.

Don't get too serious about it chaps. Yes team work is necessary, but if it's going to spoil your FUN...May I suggest that you give the offending player an earful. You know, "Oi! get back here you plonker" Or words to that effect. We don't want any LFS type dummy spitting do we now?

Considering that the game is designed so that it is impossible to complete if you split up one would think it was obvious that people should stick together ...

But there are also some that stand too long still on one place.
So the change that you can "Survive" is less shorter.
Dont stand too long still on one place move along..

If everyone talks to each other, there's no issue. Job done. I feel clean.

If you are ahead, turn around and check your team are with you, if they aren't, go back. If you are behind, look ahead and see if everyone has left you, if they have, call them back and try to keep up. Big hole below the nose, allows speech to pass through it.

Works in a lot of situations.....CoD, CS, L4D.

Another thing;
If it's 1vs2 make sure all 3 players had a game of 1vs2, not just 2 players.
This is why I left just now.
I don't mind 1vs2 but not after a game like that allready. Then it's the next person round to take upon 2.
