All I can say is I'm glad I'm a PC gamer not a console player. The control of some of them seemed a bit roboty. A keyboard and mouse add-on for the console would fix that. Actually has anyone tried L4D with a mouse on a 360. I hope they left support in. My housemate plays on a 360 with the bots because he doesn't have XBox Live Gold (or whatever you need). I might ask him to check.

I'm looking forward to this patch now!! (But we still need more campaigns)

I'd expect it to come out between 10pm and midnight. (evening time in the Valve timezone)

Looks like there are problems with Windows based dedicated servers, I have this error on a couple I have for play testing as home.

Lets cross our fingers and hope they fix it before tomorrow night.

Try running the update again. That seems to fix the problem!
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

No, what you mean is that Valve have released another mini update overnight to fix the faulty first update.

I was being economical with my typing. need to save my fingers in readiness for the weekend's shenanigans!
