Put 500 more and you can get a decent computer. If you have so old computer you need to update at least mobo, that will also mean new memory, gfx card and processor. Those changed you probably need a new psu also. Would not hurt to get a new Hard Drive also. Just my thoughts :)

im not to much into the pricings in uk but to ensure you actually get something for your money id take something lower then this.. it offers lots of power for the money.. gave my little sister one like it not so long ago.

550w Corsair VX Series PSU, ATX,                               - £69.63    
500 GB Western Digital WD5000AACS Caviar NCQ, sata2   - £47.14    
512MB Asus HD 4850, PCI-E 2.0 (x16),                          - £122.92    
Intel Core2 Duo E7400, Wolfdale Core, S775, 2.8GHz,        - £100.38    
Asus P5QL, iP43, S 775, PCI-E 2.0 (x16)                         - £74.49    
4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2, PC2-8500 (1066)  - £61.93

total cost                                                                  Â£487.98

But if you really dont wanna pay more then £300, i can try throwing something together for you

oh right, ill just have to see if i can find NL based shop which also is in english.. i guess :P
but its just a suggestion system, specs can ofc vary, but its in that range for most bang for the buck..

i still say my previous suggestion is probably in the range where you get best performance for the money, but ill try to make a cheaper one.
