Wierd Spray Stuff Going On!?!?!?

OK... I re-formatted my HDD about a month ago... My first mission (Which I chose to accept) was to get the server password for the meathook PCS server.

After that fateful night of running around like a headless chicken on cs_shogun, I seem to have acquired something that I cant get rid of... TEALEAFS SPRAY!

I have attempted to put my own back on but it wont have it, the strange thing is that everyone else sees Tealeafs spray too... What could this mean? Am I an alter ego of Tealeaf?

I really dont have a clue how I could have got hold of it... Or how I ended up with it in my CS install...  :blink: Im quite thoroughly confused....

That happend to me to. But then on the cigs server also i got TeaLeaf his spray.
But after a reconnect it was gone.
And sometimes i take over some other sprays dunno how it happens or how to solve it:(

There were _notes_ on the map packs?

My bad, I thought you just randomly threw files into a ZIP inconsistently choosing to either start within the cstrike directory, or outside it, just to make each map pack install its own little adventure. :dribble:

To explain:

The map packs you are talking about were not put together by us.  Hence the inconsistent format of the extract target folder.  

The one that has come up in this thread was put together by me - emphasis on just the single map pack.  We found a nifty piece of software that allowed us to pull all the relevant files together, so verily I did and thus it was uploaded for all to download and play with.  What was not quite known was that the aforementioned nifty software also pulled together the pldecal.wad from my machine and included it in the map pack.  So unless you have your pldecal.wad file set to read only (or deleted it from the archive prior to installation) then when you unzipped the map pack you got my spray logo installed on your machine     This was pointed out very early in the life of the map pack and a post went up in the forums reminding users to read only their pldecal file.   Hence the 'WE know why, don't we TeaLeaf!' comments.

BTW, from time to time CS decides to unilaterally download and use another peep's spray instead of your own anyway.  Nothing I can do about that.......
