Steam actually popped up on my screen a few moments ago.

Then when I tried to join a game it displayed this

Check with I BlueBall - I seem to recall he had a problem like this (or someone in the clan did). There is a fix - it is probably to give up CS and try something else

The latest message I,m getting is this.

After selecting Counter Strike..............

This game isnt currently available.

Well we all knew that didnt we.

I have got this aswell. The remedy was to shutdown and restart.

It's a known bug in Steam. Should patch automatically over the next few days. But then again who the hell knows

I too had that message and has been previously said a reboot cured it.
Finally managed to connect and played on B's server for a while. How odd it was to play with the standard models. Can't remember the last time I did that!!
