CoD4 or COD5

Seems to be interest in COD5, how does this compare to COD4?  Is it something we should move to as a repalcement for COD4 before our COD players go to someone else's server?

It seems that alot of people bought it on Steam when it was on sale.
 
CoD5 is like CoD4 but in a  WW2 setting.
We still play CoD4 on Mondays and it seems more people got the game recently and we allways get a full server.
I must say that it might be better to skip CoD5 and await how Modern Warfare 2 will be.

Although I do have CoD5, I think we would lose a lot of CoD4 players if we went solely to 5 now, and we would dilute the players even more if we supported both.

I suspect MW2 will be huge and I think we need to prepare to get in there early

I must admit Im playing a fair bit of COD5 now, but only on the crouch, tactical servers and Im loving it, got some really good maps, but it certainly won't stop me playing COD4 with dMw.

Plus I think it is not as good as the 4.  We have also been trying out some mod maps recently I think we should stick in that direction.

personally i like cod5 (waw) and i can't see why we shouldn't have our own server for it.
that said i don't think we should be ditching cod4 just yet either.

as others have said mw2 is gonna be massive when its released
and i'm pretty sure that its gonna be a direct replacement for cod4.

cod5(waw) isn't everyones cup of tea and having our own server might fragment the players that
we do have. but surely its better for our players to be playing on our servers than other clans ?

I just installed this again, and after an hour or so on the 141 server (with a mod that stops long sprints and equalizes weapons etc.) I had a ball.
We should look at this game again IMHO.
It could well be a winner.
It suits our sneaky tactical style, the weapons (that I used) didn't seem overpowered or un realistic.
Snokio can probably enlighten you regarding the mod.
Worth another look I reckon.
