One of the things that came out from the Restructuring debate was a suggestion for a Gaming Committee and this is the next thing that we would like to formally adopt in the restructure.

The role of the new Gaming Committee is to keep abreast of the upcoming game releases and, if they tick all the boxes on a dMw template (yet to be designed), then Whitey would be asked to put up a server for testing by the Community as a whole to decide on popularity and potential adoption.

The person who has been asked to lead this is GhostMjr (who graciously accepted at the LAN).

Ghosty was the obvious choice for this role. Apart from the fact he is always gaming - he reads most of the gaming magazines cover-to-cover, attends gaming fairs and exhibitions, he is active in the Steam and other game related forums and even cornered a Valve representative at a recent launch to ask about Valve's plans for the future.

A new forum will be created (which Ghosty will head) and he will be looking to get help/input from suitable people to help develop this important role in our ongoing regeneration.
