steam issues

any one else not able to connect to steam this morning, runs in offline mode but sits and connecting to sulky when online

Yes, I'm having problems connecting too.  I'm also trying to update the LD4 demo servers as they are saying they are out of date but they are just sitting at the connection stage as well. :sad:

Mine took a bit longer than normal to connect, but it connected ok eventually:D

Mine's sitting at the conntection stage for getting the update as well

ok found a solution go into the steam folder and delete ClientRegistry.blob, this apparently is caused by an update, leave the ClientRegistryold.blob alone
 
when steam restarts it updates and should fix the issue

:doh: Should have remembered.... if in doubt, delete the blob! it's practically the Steam Mantra :)
