Who is really to blame here as Cloud are an overall service its not like the guy had his personal wifi up for grabs :g:

A pub owner has been fined Ã,£8,000 because someone unlawfully downloaded copyrighted material over their open Wi-Fi hotspot, according to the managing director of hotspot provider The Cloud.

The person who downloaded the film is in the wrong. If it was the pub owner he could simply say "My ISP gave me access to the internet so blame them". If the case wound up in court the fine certainly wouldn't have been upheld.

Lets hope your Digital Rights legislation (... I think...) gets passed before this happens to more poor pub owners..... Those idiots at RIAA and MPAA and local variants should be using those millions of millions they are using on law suites to fund a legal ALTERNATIVE to thepiratebay.
