Really after that post about the scanning of your machine wow.  

[rant] I am beyond angry with EA atm they just keep doing people over, this orgin pile of rubish have to have to play, BF3 and SWTOR and now along with not letting Forza use Porche and the stupid way it is doing game join really is there no end to how evil, thick headed and just care about making money not games.  [/rant]

Sorry just getting so fed up with this poo.

I agree that EA are complete *astards however this ability to scan your computer has been in virtually every EA EULA for the past 7 years (based on what ive heard) and while i also agree that this does not make it acceptable to do so i find it odd that there has been such a scare recently just because they can doesn't (hopefully) they will.

P.S if EA tried to scan my HD it would be like Indiana Jones when they open the Ark of the Covenant :D

That's pretty low. Anyway if you know what you are doing you can easily just just partition off games and remove registry entries. Its beginning to get to the stage where you will need to put each game in its own VM to get any privacy.

What a sorry state of affairs, glad I haven't pre-ordered yet. What else is going to be revealed I wonder?

EA appear to be doing everything possible to put me off buying what might be an excellent game :(

Easiest solution is to put games on one hard drive and personal docs on a seperate one which is a shame and yes EA are poo heads yes i said it poo heads but what can you do accept not buy there games? im sure they will still be in business if you dont.
