DKP Max & Decay

Next raid you'll hit the 100 DKP maximum.  You need to remember to enable DKP cap in the addon and set it to 100.  If you forget and need to manually adjust the DKP after the raid, remember to apply the cap every 30 mins and not only at raid end (the latter results in an unjust higher DKP for the player).

DKP Decay:  I'd suggest you also need to think about applying some sort of decay to the table.  RGT use -1 dkp per day with  raids per week.  Perhaps RGW should use -4 dkp per week for 2 raids per week?

as the numbers dont work out quite even maybe rgt 6 rgw 4. It would be nice to have an even spread if possible

Not sure how Whitey enabled the decay, we'd need to ask him how/where it was enabled as I can;t find it in the options! :blush:

Not sure if moving RGT to 6 instead of 7 would be needed tbh.  We have enough people on max DKP and we're not short of DKP, so it would only add inflation if we reduced the decay.  Coupled with our higher attendance requirement it might be bes tot keep RGT decay at 7 per week? (that's the line of least resistance for Whitey as it means he does not have to change anything :lol:)

It's not done as part of the DKP application.  I set up a scheduled task on BA4 that runs every night and removes 1 dkp from anyone on positive dkp.

that's the line of least resistance for Whitey as it means he does not have to change anything :lol:)

Sounds like a good plan to me.  

I can set up another job for RGW that only runs once/twice per week to update the RGW tables on the new database if needed.

tried to send over 11 dkp from switch onto his rgw toon moonslash ...  getting a password error tho when i try to log on. Am i missing somthing  ?

Despite the fact the username is dmrrgwrl I think it wants you to put in DMRRGWRL or Dmrrgwrl.  One of those last two worked for Sithy.

I've set up a new job to run at 00:31 on a Wednesday to do the decay.  We'll see if it's working in a couple of days time!

There was a permissions problem with this that stopped it automatically updating the table this morning.  I've now resolved the issue and ran it manually.  After running it I noticed the description was still "Daily DKP Decay", I've now changed this to "Weekly DKP Decay" in the script so it should all be good next Wednesday morning.

I edited the name of the award already given to 'Weekly'.  The only thing I see at the moment is that it is bringing people below zero?

It would have been too much work to recode it differently so I've changed the script to be the same as RGT's but only run on Monday-Thursday.  So 1 DKP will be removed each of those days for anyone with positive DKP.  I removed the award that had been done (-4) and ran todays manually so it all looks ok.
