I wouldn't like to be called a fool, so I grabbed it along with the BAF addon.  It was to cheap to resist!

I'm pretty new to ArmA online (only really started getting into it last week with the ArmA 2 Free game) but am looking to play it in a more organised manner, so as a former member of DMr I thought this would be the best place to come :)

Hope to join you soon.  Treat the noob gently pls :flirty:

arma 2 oa also 2 for 15 in game...so i got silent hunter 5 and arma 2 oa..again, lets see if that helps with the issues

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Is Arma 2 OA coop or competitive multiplayer?

smilodon

Both. However as the ArmA 2 AI so good it borders on the unnatural we tend to play co-op as a rule. I hope I speak for the ArmA players when I say the fun we get is  from working together as a close team trying to outwit and out gun an enemy that is insanely powerful.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Benny

Yup, the harder the better in my opinion! It would be no fun if there was no risk,

Hi Moose. Glad you found the ArmA 2 section :thumb:

Please, please, please do not be put off by the myriad of controls as depicted by the manual. A basic movement, crouch, prone, gear, map, shoot, reload, weapon mode will do for now. Oh and push-to-talk for Teamspeak.

See you on the server :D

Hi Oldie.

I'm not put off at all by the buttons...in fact it appeals greatly to my geeky gaming nature. :D

I've got them nearly all set up now anyway.  I've been playing Flashpoint since it came out in the good old days, only in single player mind.  I've played nothing else but ArmA 2 Free for the last week online, so I'm pretty well sorted.   I still die a lot, but that's probably down more to the rather rushed style of gameplay and lack of teamwork on many public servers.

With teamspeak, some rather more thoughtful players and someone to bark orders at me I should be just fine :)

Only thing is, I don't have the original ArmA 2...   only Operation Arrowhead and the BAF add-on.   Do you generally play missions that are going to require ArmA 2 as well?   I must say I personally prefer the OA maps/landscape, but I'll fork out for ArmA 2 as well if required.  Wont be for a week or two though, I've spent my gaming fund budget.

Look forward to it anyway.
