More of a prompt to run them every raid.  They are *so* helpful when trying to identify problems and resolve them.  

Then again, the problem was blindingly obvious tonight.   The dps being done was simply awful - 13-16k dps for the Blackhorn fight when some idiot alt mage can come in and manage 21-22k dps?   There's something seriously wrong there.

You need to continue to push recruitment so that you can swap people out when they are underperforming as every fight has a DPS check of some sort and 13k dps will fail them all.

Yes mate....Got my wow sorted...not running from desktop and got live logs account set and ready to roll....

Spoke to Jas about it and he said there is an addon that auto starts the logs or something....

Yes DPS done was slack, after you left i ended up be top in 90% of the fights....as OS and still rocking 359 and 365 gear...Have tried addressing issues with certain people and i know you have and jas and grim and drea.....the list goes on....it goes in one ear and out the other.

I use this one^^^

Loggerhead simply puts up a prompt the first time you enter a 'new instance to its database' and asks you if you want the logs running or not for that instance.   So once you have been into Dragon Soul and clicked 'Yes' for the first time, then each subsequent time your logs will automatically be turned on for that instance.

Re your desktop - this is why having WoW (or any other files) on the desktop is a bad idea:

Each time Windows starts, operating memory is used for all files on the Desktop. If those files are Shortcuts, the total amount of memory used will be small. If however, there are several or dozens of files on the Desktop, those will use lots of operating memory, essentially for no purpose or gain. With less memory available, the computer runs slower because it has to swap out information from operating memory to the hard drive. It does this process (called memory paging) to keep everything the user wants to do, running at the same time.

Re the DPS: imo you aim to keep recruiting and if you find a keeper then you simply replace.   The way we did this is to identify those who are struggling, had individual chats with them, explained that with the level of dps they were doing that we were notprogressing, that they needed to improve significantly to help the raid, sent them to the theorycrafting sites and then managed their performance.  When no improvement appears *and* you have a 'keeper' recruited then you can sit the poor performer and gradually replace.  That's how we did it most recently in RGT with a poor performer - we said when 4.3 arrives if your dps has not improved significantly then we do not think you'll have a spot in the raid.  It didn't and he didn't.

Re Hermi:
When I arrived she said I had better gear than her (armory shows she is i387 and my mage is i381)
She has 1k more spell power than me and is running fully hit-capped (which is good) whereas mine is running 3% below the hit cap
She is stuck on Arcane and playing it badly (her 13k dps Arcane versus my 21k dps Fire).
Suggested she try fire, but she said arcane did better dps.   Well, the best arcane mage on the server (Delinquence now plays Fire not Arcane!  Hermi seems not to know that Fire was buffed when 4.3 came out and now does better dps than arcane (by a small margin).  An inability to play a 2 button rotation well is simply not funny, especially when the other spec she can't play is better for the raid.  
I'll PM her and have a chat about Fire spec and how to play it, at least that way she'll have no excuse.

HTH, but some times you have to be cruel to be kind and it might be worth having a one to one chat with her to explain the position you find yourself in with her dps.

I noticed you were struggling badly last night with DPS so I thought I would offer my help if you want it.  Whilst I do not play mage a huge amount (I do one LFR per week and that's about it), it used to be my main for Vanilla & TBC and I still keep current with theory crafting for the mage class.

If you want, we can spend some time together in a TS channel and in-game on the target dummies, talking through & trying the different rotations, experimenting with addons (like Combustion Helper which is the one I use for Fire) to get you to a stage where you understand the rotation and how to maintain it during an encounter.

Arcane used to provide the highest DPS, but Fire was buffed significantly when 4.3 was released and is now slightly ahead of Arcane for DPS - and Fire is even further ahead on any fight that has adds to kill in addition to the boss.  This means you really do need to develop a Fire spec for your mage, so perhaps respeccing to Arcane/Fire instead of Arcane/Frost would be something to consider.  

I know change is hard, but when my i381 mage pumps out 21k dps and your i387 mage does only 14k dps on the same fight, it's a strong message that some work is needed.

I hope this offer of help is welcome, please let me know if you would like to arrange a time when we can talk together on TS and help improve your Arcane dps, develop your Fire spec and any addons needed to maintain the rotation.

Going to get that addon installed as i know i will forget to do it manually! Due to that i dont have any logs for last night

Ive had a clean up of my desktop and now WoW is where it should be!...Im pretty useless with computers so i will be pestering you for help every now and then

Thanks alot for Pm'ing Hermi hopefully she will respond to this. As you say,im going to have a chat with the dps who aren't pulling their weight. Some just tend not to take anything in,you tell them to do something and they will for that night but come the following raid night its forgotten.
Its a serious issue as thats what is holding RGW back.

So going to keep up with the recruitment and if said people still are not performing as they should, they will go once we have the replacements.

Right uploaded my logs but i had a dc around 2215....when i logged on i was promted do i wish to enable logs and i clicked yes but for somereason it didnt...

But should have a few attmpts on there....same story crap dps. Gone write about it in the boss thread .
