The problem is the way Blizz changed the threat mechanics and allowed tanks to actually do DPS, so they count as a melee DPS class now in encounter design.  Thus you have 3 raid roles not 4: melee, ranged, healer.   RGT have done every Heroic fight with 2 melee plus tanks, so on a 'melee-unfriendly' fight like Warmaster we can still run a total of 4 melee!  40% of the raid spots for one third of the raid roles is ok by me

I'd say, let's do a couple more tries monday on zonoz being bit more organized (read boss compendium). If we see some good progress we can keep going & who knows, maybe get a kill.. If we still struggle then idd go for a normal kill & then have couple tries on hagara hc.

@Cynba, tbh i think Zonoz is Alot eazier then hagara.. on hagara a small individual mistake = a wipe.. zonoz is a little more forgiving.

Also TL is going to fraps our kill for zonoz tonight so it might be abit eazier on Monday

As Hubbah said, we'll try to Fraps the HC Zon'ozz kill tonight and pump out a video guide.   We only realised this past week that we had somehow forgotten to Fraps this boss so far!

I officially hate the zonozz fight, not for my own part, as tanking it is fairly easy. Its so melee unfriendly its just a laugh. with all ranged id imagine this fight to be much much easier

I hate most the fights on hc as a healer,its so much harder im a lazy dr00d but it is fun being pushed.

Yeah its not that melee friendly,but as tl stated rgt and im sure other guilds run with 2 melee. We just need to get the grps organised better as what is in the boss thread so the flails/eyes will get nuked down quickly and efficiently.

We only had about 6/7 tries on it and even with the nerf due the mechanics of the fight it can be a bit of a bugger...we just have to practise ...as we can clear the last 3 bosses in about 40 mins we will be on this boss for the 1st hour on monday then a few tries on hc hagara just so we can have a look at the fight. Hc utra...kill...then a clear

Heroic bosses need some time and application.  The biggest way to improve is to keep trying and then analyse why you failed to correct it for next time.   6-7 tries won't cut it in heroic, you need to put your nose to the grindstone!

Totally agree with you TL....RGW have just been clearing for a while now...now its time for the grind.

So rgw get ready for alot of release and running ....at least we have the knowledge of the fights from rgt vids and such....These chaps spent 140 odd wipes on 1 boss...Now we have their videos and comments in the forum so lets use it to our advantage and not lose heart when we wipe alot....its going to happen its called progress
