Augmentation

Augmentation added in 1.3 is damned expensive. Also, both my 50's have crew skills which don't do anything for it, aside from getting mats to sell via RE lvl47 greens or better.

Anyway, Twyst is now fully augmented with a mix of prototype and advanced augments which have boosted my shield rating by over 10% and absorb by about 3% which brings them nicely inline @41% each.
I estimate I've spent about 1.5 million doing this, but hopefully the net result will be an easier life for our healers so they can help DPS to beat our enrage timers!

My alt, Isnone is Armstech 400, i'm starting to RE stuff to get mats for Augmentation Kits, so i think we can put this stuff in bank vault so i can get mats and put the kits back to the bank. After i'll done about 20 exo stims and meds i'll reroll Voyak to Armormech, so i can make Augments for IA and BH.

What bout make augments for all whe can use the extra stats during ops runs.

sure, but Synthweaver can make augments for Force users (willpower + strength) and Armormech can make agus for Non-force (cunning + aim). Usually for DPS and Healers the primary class stats are the best, dunno about Tanks


edit: sry, forgot to add info about Synthweave in previous post and there was a typo, i meant to write "rerolling to Armormech"
edit2: i keep typing "agument" instead of "augment" sry :P

can synthweavers make the augments themselves as well, or just the slot item? if so, where do i learn the recipe?

Just slot items. You should be able to get it from your trainer.

Hmm.. i was under the impression they can. Try searching for schematics on the GTN. They come as drops from Slicing missions sometimes.

i can make the augments themselves and the slots. working on getting the different epic ones now. The blues arent very much worse than the
epics statwise, so i strongly recommend you all get rakata gear and higher augmented.

out of the epic and blue ones i can still only make:

+12 Power/+18 Shield(epic Shield augment 22)
+12 Endurance/+18 Cunning(epic Skill augment 22)
+12 Endurance/+18 Willpower(epic Resolve augment 22)
+12 Endurance/+18 Strenght(epic Might augment 22)
+12 Endurance/+18 Aim(epic Reflex augment 22)
+12 Power/+18 Defense(epic Redoubt augment 22)

I do have quite a few different augments lying round from my slicing, so just ask if u want one


edit: as i have Warm with Synthweaving and Sharpfang with Armormech, i will eventually be able to make all the different ones afaik.

That my current augment of choice :)
As I get more BH/campaign gear I'll probably need absorb instead of shield and then defense instead of absorb.
However, there's only one augment I have that isn't +shield 22 epic and I don't know how defensive stats work for other tank classes, in terms of priority or balance.
