Crap, went out to find the much referred to TCS guidelines, and when I (finally) found something that sorta looked like them, and got past all the circular references (did you know that in the guidelines, there's like five or six links that point you back to the start of the guidelines), I'm still clueless as to what the hell boundaries are and where they go...

So, when I've done my phd in avoiding getting yelled at by Duvel, I'm gonna see if next monday frees up.

On italy, the bounds are actually quite easy... you stay on the platform with the hossie build tho:

you can run down the tunnel to the tree
you can walk down the mid stairs till you are at the overpass thing.
on the right side, you can run down all the way to the doors into appartment, but not through the door..

these were the bounds that applied to CS, and works fine for CS:GO too

Yeah, I know I was way out of bounds, but when you guys started yelling about Gromit being out of bounds, he was still on the platform. That's why I couldn't figure it out :p
As for the AWP/Autosniper thing, I did find the rules for that (although I don't use either weapon, our team was "allowed" to use them and yours weren't, since you had a better than four round advantage).

Understanding it all a bit better now, but I still don't see why this would have anything to do with "real tactics" as stated by Kreg (I think). In a real situation, spawn is the last safe location, as signified in most maps by the vehicles and police cordonds. Also, ambushes are everywhere, and what better place to put an ambush than where the enemy has to advance? Instead of sitting around in the endzone like some Taliban Target Dummies?

Anyway, as I said, I might find time to do this again next monday.


(I still think a couple of you have lost the "game" aspect of it all though. It's not life or death :p)

We have not lost perspektive, we safeguard a cherist ruleset, which has been our corner stones for ages.

As t's our objective is to guard the hostages, so stick with em, the bounds have been tested for ages and discussed more times then i can recall.

As for the AWP, i apologise using it, we lost 7 rounds in a row, and in attempt to balance the balance a bit i bought.. Bad call for which im sorry.. It was dropped as soon as i read the request.

On the subject of being shouted at, don't be put off by DuVel, shouting is his default setting. After a looong time away I thought he may have mellowed but no, same old Pete. :D

Map limits and objective gameplay have always been and will always be, the main reason to play on dMw. Once the principal is ingrained you won't want to play ANY game ANY other way.
