Here's what the developers say:

The script to remedy missing mods in the past week is about to be deployed, and it involves some amendment of inventory issues overall.

Neither am I. It just states that there were some major bugs with the inventory.


But from what I picked on the forum, each section of defense should give you listed loot whether you quit later or at the moment it's offered. So yeah mate, you should probably go mail developers. I got the feeling there are chances you might actually get a reply =)
Upd.: No, you were right. This new endless void defense thingy works exactly as you said. You loose 5th and 10th wave reward if you choose to leave at 15th. Not much whining about it on forums though, which is strange.

Yep, kind of pointless in my opinion.  They should reward risk and perseverance and currently it's the opposite.

As it currently stands, the point of endless defence is gathering whatever prime blueprints are required and never look back.

And from the point of gathering folks into party, for example, I selflessly sacrifice my hard earned key for some random guy to leave the party as soon as he gets whatever particularly he needs, leaving the three of us defenseless and not being able to continue. Trivial conclusion is that the new endless T3 Void Def should be done with someone you know and matter of loot should be discussed beforehand.

I'd Google warframe oberon mods and check out the videos on YouTube from Peopleschoicegaming TITS. The guy mike knows his stuff. Well worth a search.

I only have added new polarity not replaced a slot for abilities so I recommend you see what value the one you don't use has in game before ditching it for good.
