The ship stats page has been updated!

We’ve made a major update to the site showing Star Citizen’s comparative ship stats. This update reflects current balancing plans for existing ships and reveals the initial specifications for a number of unseen craft (including the 890 JUMP, Carrack, Herald and more!)

Remember: all ship stats are preliminary, and are likely to change as game balancing continues. Please do not contact the Customer Support department to inquire about ship stats; the designers responsible for changes will be available in the ‘Ask a Dev’ threads to answer your questions.

I definitely interested in the 3 person crewed Surveyor which at 62m long is a similar size to a Constellation.   It looks like the Surveyor is being tooled up with loads of drones as well as some close range automated defence turrets, so it might be quite a nice ship to manage during salvage operations.  

I'm also quite interested in the 8 person crewed Orion mining ship - yes that said EIGHT people in the crew!  The Orion is initially pegged at 80m long and 108,000kg with room for an additional 120 tonnes of cargo (80 internal + 40 in exterior cargo containers).  

Finally, the Carrack looks to be a ship we'll need in the fleet with its Exploration role.    It's got a 4 person crew and tooled up with advanced jump computers & sensors, reinforced (long duration) fuel tanks and medical facilities.

LOADS of data, some ships removed (as likely to never be available for pledge) and much of the data on each ship has been tweaked & updated (particularly size/mass).   There's some interesting thrust:mass ratios in there now (and the Banu has some competition with the Hull C!
