Interestingly,I also tried the BMW GT2 and my lap times were almost identical to the 458
(within .5sec) so perhaps a 'class' race could be a possibility.:g:

Yeh they are close i think the bmw may be slightly faster (for the love of god don't tell Neys lol).
Something interesting on race department today a guy talking about sound problems said "Heve you guys noticed in "audio_sources.ini" the last line saying: "WET_LEVEL=-10"? he he" .

I have to admit. Fia...Ferrari seems a bit faster or at least nicer to drive.


After some laps I can say the last corner is weird, annoying and doesn't seem to fit to the overal feeling of the track. I want the old version back! :crying:

Yeah, Aqu I don't like that last corner at all.  It makes the car go very snappy on the first turn in, then you feel like you have to be careful not to oversteer onto the straight but in understeers off the track instead..arrg!

I was going to do Gentrack1, but I forgot I had this lined up and this car will suits it well.  It's a real world street circuit from Serbia.  Have a look at this onboard video from the real place.  The guy who made it did an exceptional job of recreating it for Assetto, I think so anyway.

Well, despite being hit / punted off at least once every race (only guilty once myself) I enjoyed the GT2 racing at SPA.

I chose to drive the BMW, which in my hands is a couple of seconds a lap off what I can manage in the Ferrari (2.19.s instead of 2.17.s) so I generally wasn't at the sharp end of the grid (though being regularly punted off certainly didn't help) but I still managed to have some good races.

Usually watching the Ferrari disappear into the distance early on, only to fall back into my clutches as they over worked their tyres.

Not sure yet about this weeks combo, not the best running on your own, but i suspect it will be different with a bunch of cars vying for the same (small) piece of road.

Nice choice by Neys this week.  I forgot how much fun this car was.  It also seems better than I remember, perhaps I never tried the S1 version.

This track is quite nice. I like many of the corners. The bad thing is that it doesn't have distance markers and the track map is not working (quite bad offset) so takes a bit time to learn.
